Laxmi..Angle in the Hell
Teacher was surprised knowing that his student is daughter of a prostitute. Laxmi was firm in her own point, when teacher asked about her father she directly replied that she is ignorant of her father, because her mother is a prostitute. Laxmi Jha, Class-8, Roll number-23,  got marked within few days, among teachers and students. Now she is in Class-10, She has started facing a new problem. While going back to her home once a group of ‘customers’ attempted to touch her, once Guptekaka askd her to touch his genitals but now she is getting some problems with the students of her own class. Some of them asked her to inform the rate of her mother, some of them even tried to touch her breasts, a group of them taunted her telling “3 males in a day /keeps the doctor away”.She also went to complain against them, but teacher ultimately took no action against them. She don’t even know why all of the classmates and teachers are behaving like this. When she just took the last turn toward her home, suddenly someone shouted at her that her mother is busy with someone.
Laxmi Jha, Class-10, Roll number-23. She is over pressurised now, her mother is not going to understand or solve her problems, will she drop the school?, she cannot die she loves herself too much, what is her future? Will she be prostitute? She don’t even have any clear idea of the things going on, she can’t even imagine her fate with her small experiences. A heavy scream from the core of her heart is swelling inside her throat, what she will do?
There are millions of Laxmi Jha in our country, they have lost their way. They are trying to get back in mainstream, but we, our society have already butchered their life heinously. The child from a red light area should be treated in normal code of conduct, and others adults also should keep such an approach to them, so that they don’t feel left out. This awareness is required from all status of society.
Laxmi is walking on a lonely path, she is trying to fix up her path, to fix up her home. Don’t spoil one innocent soul, try to save once. Ignite the beacon of light, light will guide them to home.

Paedophllia..Heniously Butchering Childhood

At the same time it is very interesting and terrific to probe on the topic paedophilia, the darkest part of human desire. Sexual perversion, known as paedophilia is sexual urge of an adult towards children. This is an unnatural sexual orientation which rapidly snowballing the number of sexually abused children. Although right to protection is one of the basic rights for the children but in reality everyday lot of children are getting exploited in all over the world. And sexual harassment is the most practiced form of exploitation among all.
It is already explained that who are paedophilic, now it’s the question why they commit such crimes. This is totally a psychological phenomenon which triggers sexual desire to do such crimes. According to the psychologists there are 4 causes-
i)                    Children and teenagers better to say minors are curious about sex, and that’s why they are easy to convince for sex.
ii)                   Few abusers touch children sexually as they are profoundly intellectually disabled or psychotic, or they have developed some disorder that sexually attracts them to children. But it can be cured in proper medication.
iii)                 There is also a category who represent themselves as “Anti-social”. And to do something against social law poke them to molest a child. This group often observed in a horrific number as child abuser. A study on this group revealed that 95% of the abusers belongs to this group
iv)                 The last group have an irresistible sexual urge to children without any such reason. And the term paedophilic was coined to define them in terms of psychology.
Other than this Psychological causes a child molester also caused by the watching pornographies, social unawareness, and perversion of sex. And lastly as a reason of abusing a child abuser also takes the facility of innocence and fear to disclose something new.
Everyday number of victim is increasing in all over the world but situation is grave especially in some countries, according to statistics. India is in second position. According to the data of 2001 and 2011 the number of raped child in India is 2113 and 7112 respectively, 48000 is the number of victims within 2001-2011. This kind of crimes takes place irrespective of class, caste, social affluence, sex, colour, and they offenders do such crime impartially. But the situation of girls are graver in India than boys. One in each five girl child get sexually abused where in case of boys it is one in each twenty. 20% of adult female and 5-10% of adult male can recall sexual incidents in their childhood. It’s not the end the most alarming and disturbing is the age group of these innocent victims.45% abused children are below the age of 5 and 25% abused children are below the age of 3.
Ultimately there is no hope on law and punishments ,the same sun will rise again..
The girl from a remote village is now in a city, searching for her next abuser. She was raped for 6 times during her life time of 16 years, her mother was unable to rescue her. No one ever protested for her knowing how mercilessly her childhood is butchered. There were some posts in Facebook, there were some blogs on her, but she don’t want to bother this things. She wants to live her life independently, with respect and basic rights. So she is now in city, to find a job in Durgapuja, (worship of Indian Goddess), unknowingly she might also find her next abuser.

How to Protect Sacred Souls

From the very beginning of this topic we should have a clear idea about what child right is. According to “Child Right and You”, known as CRY, child rights are fundamental freedom and inherent right of all human beings bellow the age of 18. These rights apply to every children across the globe irrespective of race, status, creed, colour, religion, sex and even race of guardian(s).
Now, the first question comes that who are children? The 12 years old boy who polish the shoes of school goers, is he a child? Is that guy is a child who makes beedi for his previous generation to feed his family? Surprisingly they are, and we have given them the “degree” of a “professional hard worker” (or trainee), snatching them the opportunity to enjoy an adequate standard of living. Although, the answer of this simple question have aroused lot of confusion, contradiction and complications but according to United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child defines a child as an individual who has not attained the age of 18. Other legal definitions also refers to a minor as a child, otherwise younger than the age of minority. And the minors don’t have the sense and authority to keep them maintained. They are innocent having no power of taking the right decision due to the lack of experiences and this causes the immense exploitation of child. In order to preserve the most beautiful and memorable stage of life, childhood, we must have to fulfil their rights.
As history shows the path to present and future, we are going to shift our focus to the history of child right. At the very beginning before 16-17th century the children were treated as the miniature form of an adult, and from 16-17th century they were treated as a normal human being who need a special care, adult protection and nourishment. Differences in paintings of these things reflects these facts. In 19th century France proposed to afford some extra care and protection to the children in different aspects and this kind of protection was spread over Europe in 20th century. In 1924 League of Nations adopted Declaration of the Rights of the Child, First International Treaty concerning child Right. And it said about the fundamental rights of a child and responsibilities of adults. In 1958 Declaration for rights of the Child was adopted by General Assembly of UN. And gradually many rules and laws were passed and many NGOs worked on this topic and worked against many problems like education, health, protection, exploitation, survival etc.
Cry worked on child right and broadly stated four basic rights of a child and those are-
I)                    Survival-Right to Survival ensures healthy life to a child. Where he/she will get nutrition, healthy food, proper medication and etc.
II)                  Development- Right to development is to provide a child leisure, education recreation and etc. to explore him/her full potential
III)                Protection- Right to protection entails that the children will be protected from any kind of abuse, exploitation and physical or mental harmful influences.
IV)               Participation- Tis is the right where a child is involved in taking his/her own decision and has the freedom to express and explain independent thoughts.
Although there are many rules many definitions many articles, blogs are written on this topic, but most of the proposals, acts, laws are in words only, the transformation to act from word is remaining undone as usual. The skinny boy on platform is raising his hand languidly to you, all the unprivileged children of your city, of your country, of this earth are raising their hands, grab it! They need you now, as you need them in future.
